Most people know Detroit-based singer/songwriter Jeremy Porter from his band, Jeremy Porter and The Tucos, who’ve made a name for themselves releasing albums and touring across the US, Canada, and the UK since , but Jeremy is an accomplished solo-acoustic performer too. Since the release of his latest solo album Dynamite Alley (GTG Records, ), he’s been all over, playing songs from that album, The Tucos, and more. When describing his sound, Nashville Gab magazine perhaps said it best: “the hooks from your favorite Cheap Trick record and the dark humor from a Tom Waits ballad soaked in a puddle of beer next to Paul Westerberg’s amp.” It’s honest, original, and heartfelt music.
